Obituary of Mary Margaret Willman
Mary Margaret (Seifert) Willman, 89, of Carmel, departed this life Tuesday, April 20, 2021. She was born on June 1, 1931 in Indianapolis to the late Lee and Clara (Lenihan) Seifert. Mary graduated from St. Vincent Hospital School of Nursing in 1952. Later she graduated from Ball State University's Nurse Anesthetist Program. She married George Willman on April 4, 1964. Mary lived the loving ministry of Jesus as healer and committed herself to serving all persons with special attention to those who were most vulnerable. Through her career, she touched many lives with her generosity of spirit while serving at various hospitals. In all aspects of her life she treated people like brothers and sisters in Christ. Mary always saw the good in people and treated everyone with respect and compassion. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church and the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists. Mary and her husband George enjoyed volunteering at their churches, local hospitals, and in Louisiana after Hurricane Katrina. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Mary will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Mary is survived by her children, Mark (Karen) Willman, Marinelle (Joseph) Ford and Dan (Melissa) Willman; grandchildren, Kent Willman, Adam Willman, Brooke Willman, Nathan Willman, Elizabeth Ford, Sean Ford, Ryan Ford, Sarah Willman and Amanda Willman; brother, Mike Seifert; sisters-in-law, Dee Seifert, Darlene Seifert and Vicki Willman. She was preceded in passing by her loving husband of 52 years, George Willman; parents, Lee and Clara Seifert; grandson, Joey Ford; siblings, Joe (Mardenna) Seifert, Ann (Don) Breunig, Kathleen (Rex) Ellis, Bernard Seifert, John Seifert and Carolyn (Rex) McKeeman; sister-in-law, Sandy Seifert; and brothers-in-law, Don (Darla and Joanne) Willman and Earl Willman. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 25, 2021 from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at Feeney Hornak Keystone Mortuary, 2126 E. 71st Street, Indianapolis, IN 46220. An additional hour of visitation will take place on Monday, April 26, 2021 beginning at 10:00am until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, 14598 Oak Ridge Rd, Carmel, IN 46032. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made by mail to Ascension St. Vincent Foundation, 8402 Harcourt Road Suite 210, Indianapolis, IN 46260.
