She attended Indiana University and retired after 30 years from Ft. Benjamin Harrison Army Finance Center. Mrs. Ward was a member of Mt. Olive MBC. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard L. Ward and sister, Clara Barlow.
She leaves to cherish her memory and celebrate her life, children: Elder Clarence Huckleberry (Tonia) and Kimberly Hughley; sister, Georgia Crafton of Chicago, IL; 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
Mrs. Ward’s visitation will take place on Saturday, March 21, 2015, 9am – 11am with the Homegoing commencing at 11am at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church. The entombment will immediately follow at Washington Park North Cemetery.
