Mercenya Mae Walters, 81, died January 30, 2011. She graduated from Otwell High School and attended Butler University. She had a musical career and radio show in Vincennes and travelled with the Walt Brink Orchestra.
She is survived by her daughter Genya Dispennett (Douglas), sister ,Shirley Phillips, and brother Jim Teague. She was preceded in death by her husband John M. Walters, daughter, Vicki Bass, and brother Lowell.
Services will be held on Monday February 7, 2011 at 1:00 P.M at the Crown Hill Funeral Home Chapel with calling from 11:30 A.M. Interment Crown Hill Cemetery.
