

“Miggy” as she was affectionately called growing up attended Indianapolis Public Schools and was very creative as a child. She worked as an Environmental Technician and was also employed at Indiana Bell and The Indianapolis International Airport.
“Madea” as she was called by those who knew and loved her, enjoyed playing cards, taking trips to the casinos, dancing with her grandchildren, taking care of her plants, and overall spending time with her family. Madea's favorite instrument was the Saxophone, she enjoyed listening to it for hours her favorite artist was Kenny G!
Mildred C. Allen is preceded in death by her father Olen E. Allen, mother Clara M. Gaines-Allen, sister Madonna Anderson, and great-grandson Avyon Pearson.
Mildred leaves to cherish her memories daughters Kaneeca K. Allen, Angel S. Bostic Mont-Louis (Mark), Angela M. Bostic, LaFonda L. Bostic, and Tianna C. Allen. Brothers; Jerome L. Miller Anthony D. Allen, sisters; Tanya M. Martin, Leola A. Smith (John), Germaine D. Allen-Ewell, Marquita R. Allen, 10 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
