
Milton was born in Indianapolis, IN on June 19, 1930. He graduated from Morristown High School and continued to receive a Certification in Accounting for the state of Indiana. Milton served in the US Army Military Police from 1952-1954.
Milton was married to Joyce on May 24, 2007. They were married for nearly 13 years.
Milton was self-employed as an accountant and owned his own accounting business for over 6 decades. He enjoyed playing tennis, singing, teaching bible study, collecting model cars, watching sports and completing crossword puzzles. He was also actively involved in his church South Calvary Missionary Baptist Church.
Milton was preceded in death by his parents Leonard Sr. and Gladys Manuel, sister Martha Lewis and brother Leonard Manuel Jr.
Milton leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife Joyce, children Ethan (Patricia), Elton (Diana), Ellery, stepchildren Antoni Taylor and Joycelyn McClung, 16 grandchildren (2 preceded in death), 17 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. Milton will also be missed by his South Calvary Church family and his many clients.
An intimate funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday May 2, 2020 at The Pines at Crown Hill Cemetery. Rev. John Woodall Jr. of South Calvary Church will be officiating the service. Interment will immediately follow the service at The Pines at Crown Hill Cemetery. Crown Hill Funeral Home is handling funeral arrangements.
