

William L. Arnold, age 71, passed away June 16, 2010 at his home in Fishers, Indiana after battling Renal Cell Carcinoma for 18 months. Born in Indianapolis, Bill graduated from Pike High School and was a veteran of the Indiana Army National Guard. Bill owned an Allison Transmission dealership in Lebanon, Indiana and retired from General Motors Corporation as a Field Service Engineer for Allison Transmission.
Bill loved the outdoors, especially fishing and water skiing. Bill and his wife Susan previously owned a home in Perry County, IN where he participated in many local activities and was a great friend to many people. Bill was known for his giving nature and would always stop to lend a hand.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents Leroy and Vera Arnold and his brother, Robert Arnold. He is survived by his wife of 25 years Susan (Roberson) Arnold, children Traci McDonough, Anthony (Tuk) Arnold and Katherine Plummer, and grandsons Casey McDonough, Andrew and Daniel Promsurin.
A Memorial Service will be held at 4 PM June 25, 2010 in the Gothic Chapel at Crown Hill Cemetery followed by a gathering to celebrate Bill's life at Crown Hill's Waiting Station until 7 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Kidney Cancer Association (kidneycancer.org).
