León Baisa, 16, Indianapolis, passed away November 24th, 2010. He was born January 4th, 1994 to Raul and Diana Baisa. León was a Sophomore at North Central High School. An active student athlete, León played for the Varsity Baseball and JV Soccer teams. He also captained an intramural Basketball team which he organized this past fall. León will be remembered for his sweetly winning smile; gentle and kind demeanor; and his remarkable talent. Those who knew him well will miss his quick and subtle wit; calm leadership; and deep loyalty to friends and family. León is survived by his parents Raul and Diana; grandparents Keith and Lindy Fry; brothers Cruz, Roman, Falcon and Hunter; and sisters Casia, Dakota, Anisa and Phoenix. A memorial fund has been set up in León's name at Fifth Third Bank. Donations may be made in person at any branch or by mail to Fifth Third Bank, C/O Leon Baisa Memorial, 251 N Illinois St., Indianapolis, IN 46204. All contributions will go towards funeral arrangements and expenses. The memorial service will be held Tuesday, November 30th from 6-8pm at North Central High School in the main gymnasium.
