

Duke Gold, 49, left us peacefully on November 19th 2008. Duke was a remarkable and celebratory man that touched many hearts and lives. He was loved more than he will ever know. He paid it forward everyday and made those around him feel safe in his hands and cherished. His love for his family inspired his determination to reach his goals and dreams.
Duke was an amazing father that gave his whole heart to his three children; Falan Gold, 25, Leer Gold, 20, and his oldest daughter Natasha Gold, 27, that passed away to cancer in 2006. Duke was a caring and devoted husband to Avery Gold for 26 years. He was loved by two sisters, Lisa Vanags and Tammy Stout, and their husbands. A son to his late mother, Judy Gold and his father Larry Gold along side his wife, Betty.
He was the proud owner of Duke Gold's Speedway since the 1980s and held his employees dear to his heart. He was also the President of the Volkswagen & Subaru Dealer Council.
His love for golf, TV, sports, movies, friends and family brought a smile to his face everyday and will forever in his new life. Duke will be remembered as an extraordinary strong man with so much love in his heart that will carry on for all his loved ones to feel everyday.
The Calling will be held Monday, November 24th at Crown Hill Funeral Home 700 West 38th Street Indianapolis from 4:00PM to 7:00PM. Memorial contributions are requested to The Wellness Community of Central Indiana, 5150 W. 71st Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46268
