65, of Carmel, Indiana, passed away on Monday February 24, 2014, in the quiet surroundings of his home. Tom was born February 10, 1949, in Terre Haute, Indiana, to the late Newton E. and Georgeina R. (Martin) Hensley. He was a graduate of Brownsburg H. S., and later Indiana Business College where he received his Associates Degree. He was the 2nd eldest of 5 children, Judy Plummer, Janice Adams, the late Bruce Hensley, and Michael Hensley. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Sarah (Ertel) Hensley, and daughter, Mary Hensley, and son-in-law, Sean Moriarty.
Tom was a remarkable and memorable man. He made friends easily, and his laugh lit up the room. He enjoyed traveling to Marco Island, and having a quiet coffee on his lanai. He loved visiting his lake house on the weekends, and drinking a cold beer. He loved playing the slots in Vegas, and most would agree, Tom was the life of the party. We will miss him and always love him.
