Renee passed peacefully on April 18, 2016. She was born on Sept. 23, 1943, in Park Ridge, Ill. She married her husband, Mike, a U.S. Marine, on Sept. 14, 1963, in Palatine, Ill. They spent the next 52 years together raising two children, Michelle and Tim. She loved to travel and did so as a Marine wife serving and living in California, Hawaii, Utah, Louisiana, and Indiana. She graduated from a community college in New Orleans where she earned an associate's degree in business. To spend more time with her family, she joined them on the racquetball courts in Louisiana and Indiana. She was an officer in the Indiana State Racquetball Association, ran tournament desks at hundreds of meets, and was voted into the Indiana State Racquetball Hall of Fame with her husband. She was a dental assistant in Fishers for 13 years, and an office manager in Indianapolis for five years, retiring in 2008. Among her great joys was watching and supporting her five grandkids, who played soccer, basketball, baseball, tennis, cheerleading, and ran track. She was also the architect behind Sunday dinners for the whole family and their significant others. She is survived by her husband, Mike La Bonne, daughter, Michelle La Bonne, son, Tim La Bonne and five grandchildren, Nicole (La Bonne) Serra, Sinjin La Bonne, Alicia (La Bonne) Sellas, Paige La Bonne, and Chase La Bonne. She also has one great grandson, Mason. Renee was an organ donor and the gift of her corneas can allow two people to regain their eyesight.
