Daughter of Richard and Jean Haase, Dottie was born in Ilion, New York.
She attended the University of Tennessee where she met her husband of 63 years, Dr. William T. Leffler. There she was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha sorority. She was a volunteer at The Day Nursery in Indianapolis, Methodist Hospital and was a member of The Southern Club.
She was proceeded in death by her husband and a daughter, Sally Jane Leffler. She is survived by two daughters: Ann Ritter (Bob) and Jeanne Dickman (Mike); five grandchildren: Matt, Greg (Rachel) and Doug Ritter; Amy Daugherty (Ed) and Katy Dickman: seven great grandchildren: Caleb, Canyon, Adam, Noah, Lily, Seth Ritter and Nevaeh Dickman.
A small family service shall be conducted at Crown Hill.
