Mrs. Angela Lorraine Pettigrew

Angela Lorraine Cushenberry was born on January 14, 1960 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Angela was baptized at St. Bridges Church and was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church. Angela completed her education in the Indianapolis Public School System, graduating from Arlington High School. She received an Associate Degree in Computer Programming Technology from IVY Technical College in Indianapolis.

Through honorable matrimony of twenty-four years to Robert Mark Pettigrew, they were blessed with two children, Ryan and Alexandria.

Angela was employed with Indianapolis Public School System (IPS), starting as a Computer Specialist and eventually working as a Technology Specialist in the Special Education Department. She worked closely with special needs children, providing technology to assist in their education and development. She was employed at IPS for twenty-five years. Angela also worked at the Adidas Group, as a Customer Service Representative, until her illness prevented her participation.

Angela enjoyed sewing, bowling, traveling, writing poetry, helping others, volunteering at Church and spending time with family and friends.

Angela Lorraine Cushenberry Pettigrew departed this life on Saturday August 18, 2012 at the age of 52 years, 7 months and 4 days.

Angela was preceded in death by her mother, Brenda Cushenberry and her father-in-law, Robert Pettigrew Sr.

Angela Lorraine Cushenberry Pettigrew leaves many wonderful memories with her loving husband, Robert Mark Pettigrew, son Ryan Mychael Pettigrew, daughter Alexandria Lynay Pettigrew, stepson Robert Mark Pettigrew II, father Frank Cushenberry, sister Victoria (James) Seals, mother-in-law Shirley Pettigrew,sister in law Stephanie Pettigrew, adored aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Angi never met a stranger and always had a smile for everyone she met.

She will surely be missed by all.
