91, Indianapolis, passed away peacefully March 22, 2013 surrounded by family. She was a devoted wife and mother, actively involved with Girl Scouts and 4H. She enjoyed gardening and also volunteered her time at the Eagle Creek Nature Center as well as the Bethel United Methodist Church, of which she was a faithful member of many years. As a dietitian, Carol retired from the Pike Township Eastbrook Elementary School cafeteria.
Carol is survived by her husband of 62 years, Lawrence A. Walton; sons, Gary (Karen) and Wendell (Beth) Walton; daughter, Susan (Howard) Slack; 17 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
