Nancy Rose Dakin

Nancy Rose Dakin (Russell), age 82, of Indianapolis, passed away on November 7, 2019. She was born on April 4, 1937 in Hustonville, Kentucky to Edward Sr. (deceased) and Sarah (Smith) Russell (deceased). Nancy enjoyed working at Block’s, L. S. Ayres, Montgomery Ward and Macy’s, bargain shopping, cooking family dinners, babysitting grandkids and at the church and going to the casino. She will be greatly missed. Nancy is survived by her children, Kathy (Siosifa - deceased) Vai, Randall (Jaqui) Dakin, Sharilyn (Scott - deceased) Sahm and Kyle (Leslie) Dakin; grandchildren, Cory (Tracy), Garrett, Ryan (Helena), Nathan, Kyle, Candice (deceased) (Chris), Brittany (James), Zach and Zane; great grandchildren, Mikayla, Tyeler (Ashley), Austin (Allie), Morgan, Paige, Hayden, Jaden, Blake, Shayla, Savannah, Carson, Dalton and Dylan; and great-great grandchildren, Leilah and Jaxton. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, William Dakin; parents, Edward Sr. and Sarah Russell; and siblings, Fred, Hubert, Johnnie, Carl, Edward Jr., Vernon, Irene, Elizabeth, Bessie and Essie.
