Age 84, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully at her granddaughter’s house on March 27, 2013.
She is preceded in death by her husband, the love of her life for 60 years, Delbert and son, David.
She spent the happiest years of her life on Florida’s gulf coast fishing, shelling, and boating. She and her late husband spent many years operating a shelling business called “Critters and Things.” Nellie was an avid gardener and nature enthusiast.
She is survived by her three children, Dan, Perri, and Dede; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. The family wishes to give a special thanks to her granddaughter, Jenn; and family Lars, Abby, and Lydia, who brought so much joy, laughter, and care to Nellie during her final days.
Service will be held private at the convenience of the family.
