Pamela Ann Magee

68, of Fishers, Indiana, passed away at home on Wednesday, February 25, 2015. Pam was born on March 8, 1946 in Newark, New Jersey, to the late Walter Francis and Blanche L. (Lukowicz) Burns. Pam married George Stewart Magee on December 26, 1965 in Monmouth Beach, New Jersey.

In addition to being a loving mother, Pam was an assistant branch manager of United Jersey Bank and later the office manager of the brokerage firm Dreskin Gillman and Granet before retiring in 2005. She loved playing golf and was a regular with the Ironwood Ladies 18 Hole Golf League. She and Stewart loved to travel and explore the world. Some of her favorites included kayaking in Alaska, touring Italy, sailing the Aegean Sea, and cruising the Rhine. She was known to spoil her grandchildren and cherished every moment with them. She was a dedicated member of Holy Spirit at Geist Catholic Church.

Pam was preceded in death by her parents and her brother-in-law, Michael Murray. She is survived by her beloved husband, Stewart Magee; son, Steve (Jennifer) Magee; daughter, Shelley (Jason) Mattaliano; sister, Paula Murray; brother, Buddy (Pamela) Burns and grandchildren, Michael Mattaliano and Shane, Ryan, and Mackenzie Magee.

Visitation will be from 5 – 8 pm on Monday, March 2, 2015 at Holy Spirit at Geist Catholic Church. Additional visitation will begin at 10:00 am on Tuesday, March 3rd followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in the church sanctuary.

Pam’s family is extremely grateful for the care provided to her by the wonderful people of Indiana University Home Care, Indiana University Hospice and the Indiana University Simon Cancer Center.
