Randy Sexson

Randy Sexson, age 72, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 7, 2019 surrounded by his family. Randy was born on October 26, 1946 in Greenfield, Indiana to the late Hiram and Roberta (Haskell) Sexson. After high school, he attended Indiana University where he obtained his Bachelor's Degree. He was a proud United States Marine, having served from 1966 to 1969. Randy married Margaret "Peggy" Vaught on August 22, 1970 and they spend 49 years together.
Randy will be remembered for his infectious smile and always having a good time. He loved joking around and spending time with his family and friends. Randy enjoyed playing golf and listening to his favorite band, The Beatles. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Randy is survived by his loving wife, Peggy Sexson; children, Andy (Liza) Sexson, Nicole (Mike) Gritis and Matt (Heidi) Sexson; brothers, Rick Sexson and Kip Sexson; sisters, Cynthia Strickland and Susan Rossell; and grandchildren, Jim, Kyle, Zach, Sydney, Lucille, Joseph and Sally. Randy was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial visitation for Randy will be held Tuesday, September 10, 2019 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortuary, 2126 E. 71st Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46220.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Randy's memory may be made to the Indianapolis Public Library, P.O. Box 211, Indianapolis, Indiana 46206.
