Whatever you knew my son as, he was so much more than the burdens that he carried. He loved his kids with all his heart, and his main goal was to be with them, and I promise you Ricky they will always know that. He loved his family, and just wanted to be a part of it. He was always so sweet to me. Told me everyday how much he loved me. He told me just the other day that he just wanted to be normal. He was a musician, and a song writer and his deep poetry expressed his belief in God and the sadness in his soul for the mistakes he had made in this life. The things he wrote about were happy times from his childhood, the love for his family, the deep hurt in his soul because he missed his son so deeply. My heart is split in half and my only comfort is that he walks the golden streets with my pops, who he loved so deeply and that his body is healed now. No more pain Ricky, no more daily torment, no more trauma, my first born son.......Kathy Armstrong
