Robert M. Roark
95, of Indianapolis, passed away on November 25, 2018, surrounded by his loving family in his home. He was born July 24, 1923 in Marshall County Kentucky to King Watson and Mary (Dalton) Roark. He was a US Army Air Corp Veteran. Following the war, he married his beloved wife Lula Roark in 1946, and together they raised three children while working in northwest Indiana: Timothy Roark, Teresa Shackelford, and Toni Roark. Upon retirement, Lula and Robert moved to Indianapolis in 1988 and he was involved in the American Legion and ARCO Illiana Retirees Club. He and Lula were supporters of many charitable organizations, primarily the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. He is survived by his daughters Teresa (and her husband, John) and Toni, as well as his 4 grandchildren: Aaron, Adam (and his wife, Nicole), and Amy Shackelford and Natalee Decker. Memorials may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Services entrusted to Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortuary.
