

Rosie Lee Sanders loved the Lord and her family. There is nothing she wouldn't do for anyone. She enjoyed sitting on her porch, cooking for her family and loved ones, and gardening. You could usually find her reading her Bible, working her puzzle books or watching her favorite game shows.
She was baptized in the name of Jesus at Jericho Baptist Church in Gould, Arkansas, at an early age. She later moved to Indianapolis where she was reborn in Jesus Christ at Mt. Horeb Baptist Church before making her final church hime at First Free Will Baptist Church. Whe was a faithful member and worker in the Church. She also took great pride in being a member of the Mother's Board, looking forward to the second Sunday of each month.
Rosie was a very loving and kind person. She never met a stranger. She was always eager to meet new people and would tell anyone who listened about her love of Jesus! She had a heavenly smile that would light any room. She loved giving the Lord praise. You could often hear her singing, "Lord, I just want to thank you," or "The Blood Done Signed My Name."
Rosie Lee Sanders departed this life on January 13, 2014 at the age of 95 years old. She leaves to cherish her memory, 9 children, Sonny (Marie) Gill, Jewel Gill, Anderson (Lena) Gill, Bernella (Wayman) Harris, Joe Sanders, Jr.(Sara), Marsie Rudolph, Cherylynn Ash, Glenda Sanders, and Hazel Person; caregiver, Stephanie Tennin, 31 grandchildren, 60 great grandchildren 35 great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many other family and friends.
The visitation will take place on Monday, January 20, 2014, 10am - 12pm with the service at 12pm at First Free Will Baptist Church. The burial will follow in New Crown Cemetery.
