Sammie Edward Moore was born on January 27, 1932 to Sam and Ella Moore in Marian, Arkansasand transitioned from labor to rest on June 6, 2018 at the age of 86. Sammiewas a graduate of Crispus AttucksHigh Schooland was a US Army Veteran. Sammie retired from Chrysler after 32 years of service; retired from Link Belt after 27 years of service. Sammie was a member of the Cosmopolitan Social Club. He loved jazz music and working on his lawn and gardening. He also loved reading and entertaining his friends.Preceded in death by parents; daughters Donna Moore, Deloris Moore; 4 sisters.Sammie leaves to cherish his memories wife of 65 years Alice Moore; sons Sammie (Margaret) Moore, Charles (Maria) Moore, Mark (Shanna) Moore; daughters Denise Moore, Mary Allison, Beverly Ruffin, and Maria McAllister; sister Laverene Bell ; 23 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends
