Sara loved the Lord and she really loved her children (Rebecca, Damon, Kenneth, and Adam (deceased)), her 15 grandchildren (Adam, Anthony, Sierra, Makayla, Ashley, Danielle, Dominique, Deven, Damon, Jr., Kyasia, Kiella, Emonie, Jalen, Kenneth, Jr., and Sierra. Sara also loved her 7 great-grandchildren (Iyanna, Jaden, Caden, Jada, Desaree, Danielle, and Daniel).
Sara also loved her sisters, brothers, and in-laws (Dimple, Marion Regina, Philena, Joyce, Rev. Phillip (Mary), Joseph (Mary Ann)--these brothers and sisters were really, really close--they could keep a family party going for hours! And, Sara was very close to all her other relatives (including me, Maria--her favorite niece!!!!--I'm sure she had other favorites in the family, but when it comes to music, I was the favorite (next to her two sons, Damon and Kenny.) Our Squires family is a very close and loving family who finds any reason to celebrate so we can see each other. Sara's house was the 'family' house, so we were there all the time--just hanging out, having fun, and playing music. Sara left us with the legacy of her music and a few songs she recorded, with the most recent song being a new rendition of 'Summertime'--Sara is the vocalist in the song and it was arranged by Steven (Sara’s great-nephew). We will truly miss my aunt Sara!’
