Suzanne Mitchell, 72, passed away on Sunday, January 17, surrounded by those she loved. She was born on October 19, 1943 William George (Bill) and Avanelle Brinkley. Suzanne retired from Indianapolis Public Schools in 2012 having worked as an administrative assistant for 23 years. She dearly loved her grandchildren, her home, and was always a very passionate gardener. Suzanne was quite outspoken and possessed a great wit and sense of humor that will be missed by all. Suzanne is survived by her children, Christie Mitchell, Linda Mitchell, David Mitchell, Amy (Dean) Kincaid; grandchildren Joshua and Amanda, granddog Angel Suzanne, 6 siblings as well as her close group of childhood friends known as “The Girls”. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at Crown Hill Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 12-2pm with service following at 2pm.
