Thomas Allen (Tommy) McElyea, 76, of Indianapolis, IN passed away November 10, 2015. Tommy was born to the late Cecil and Sarah Tester McElyea in Pennington Gap, Virginia on August 16, 1939. Tommy worked at Mason Dixon Trucking Company for a number of years before retiring. He was a member of Marwood Baptist Church, the Masonic Lodge and Scottish Rite. He married Joyce Evalene Eldridge on April 30, 1967, and she survives. Also surviving are daughters Rebecca Ann McElyea-Ball, Sondra Michelle McElyea and Stacy Jill McElyea-Davis; brothers Robert (Smokey)McElyea, Danny McElyea; sister Carolyn Eldridge; grandchildren Stephanie Lynn (Jeff) Wilson and Cedrych Bracy Davis; great-grandchildren Nevaeh, Remington, and Walker. He was preceded in death by brothers Eugene, Buford, Mickey, Jerry and Ronnie, sisters Lousie Howell and Margie Audia.
