Thomas was a retired assembly worker for Ford Motor Company. He was prededed in death by his parents Frank Strong and Samella Nelson Strong; siblings: Willie Buford, Stella Mae Johnson and Lois Ann Gilbert.
He leaves to cherish his memory, wife, Vivian Strong; children: Antonio Strong and Terry Andrews; five grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends in Indiana, Ohio and Tennessee.
His visitation will take place on Thursday, September 11, 2014, 10am to 11am, with the Memorial Service at 11am at Williams and Bluitt Funeral Home Peoples Chapel.
