Virgil was born in Caryville, Tennessee to Harry and Rose Chadwell on February 27th, 1951. He married Cherie M. Chadwell on June 1st, 1978, in Indianapolis, Indiana. He worked in construction. He proudly served his country in the Army and the Army National Guard.
Virgil was preceded in death by his father, Harry Chadwell, mother, Rose (Chadwell) Sanders, sister, Mary Pike, Belly Rutherford and Dalphy Sanders, brothers, Eddy, Floyd, Ralph Chadwell and Scott Sanders.
Virgil is survived by his loving wife, Cherie Chadwell, daughters, Virginia Adkins and Alice Littlejohn, sons Harry and Michael Chadwell, 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
