He had been a cook for several Indianapolis area hospitals and most recently worked at the Rodenbush V.A. Medical Center.
Denny was preceded in death by his son Jason Lacey. He leaves to cherish his memory, loving parents, James & Geraldine Lacey; daughter, Melody Jiles; siblings: James M. Lacey, Charles C. Stephen Lacey, Carolyn Thompson and Della Lacey, 3 grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.
His visitation is Saturday, October 4, 2014, 10am - 12pm, with the Homegoing Celebration commencing at 12pm at Messiah Missionary Baptist Church. The burial is at Washington Park North Cemetery.
