

He was born in Ariton, Alabama. Bill graduated from Portland High School in 1968, and was married to Rebecca (Chapman) on November 6th, 1972.
Bill was a long-time employee at the Portland Forge. Throughout his life he was passionate about restoring antique furniture, bowling (including rolling a 300 game), and the New York Yankees. But he will be remembered most for his gregarious personality, infectious smile, and absolute devotion as a husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.
He was preceded in death by his son Gabriel, mother Doris, and brothers Jack, Richard, and David.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca, sons Caleb Dann (Leslie) and John Neuenschwander (Kim), grandchildren Matthew, Alexander, Avery, Ruth Mae, Opal, Katrina, Kassie, Kayla, Keturah, Ivan, and Devin, great-grandchildren Layla, Madison, Carson, and Jaxon, and siblings John, Jim (Sheila), Peg (Jay), Mary (Omar), Billie, and Karleen.
Funeral arrangements will be held on Tuesday, June 29th at 11am at Crown Hill Funeral Home in Indianapolis.
