

William G. Gorshe, 83, died Saturday, March 07, 2026, after an illness. He was born on March 27, 1942, in Manistique, Mich., and graduated from Manistique High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was employed as an electrician at Inland Steel for 30 years.
On May 26, 1967, he married Betty (Kegley) Gorsche, who survives. Also, surviving are his children: Gary (Lynda) Burgeson and Chuck (Brenda) Burgeson; and his grandchildren Angela (Joseph) Baranowski, Natalie (David) Pardonek, Michael Burgeson, Brandi (Kevin) Kendall, C.J. Burgeson, Erick (Kellie) Burgeson, Tennille Burgeson, Bronson Burgeson and Vanessa Wedell, Bethanie (Luke) Bunch, Crystal (Harley) Puff, Brenda Harrison and Sean (Joanna) Harrison. Also, Chris Lewis, Matthew Lewis, Nick Post, Robert Foote and Joseph Orosco.
Also, surviving are a sister, Judy (Ron) Provo, and a brother Greg (Bonita) Gorsche, brothers-in-law Bill Males and Jim (Chris) Kegley, and sisters-in-law Barbara Sandler, Louise Britton, Vicky Brown and Pam Kegley.
Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews and great- grandchildren. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Ferdinand Gorsche and Dorothy Gorsche Whitelaw; two daughters, Donna Post and Debbie Burgeson; Bill’s sister, Justine “Tina” Males, Amanda Foote, Karrington Burgeson, Julian Burgeson, Steve Provo, Gene Britton, Mary Graves, Ella Neely.
Bill enjoyed Christian music and attended many Christian concerts, and his hobbies included H.O. scale trains.
A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date……. Crown Hill Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
The past few years were spent in Plainfield, Indiana at Sugar Grove Memory Care. The family would like to thank the entire staff for their dedicated care and kindness.
