William Lloyd Hawkins

William Lloyd Hawkins, age 77, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Saturday, September 18, 2021. William was born on October 19, 1943 in Beech Grove, Indiana, to the late Lewis and Lillian Hawkins. William was an avid I-U, Pacers and Indianapolis Colts fan. He loved attending his grandsons sporting events and Choir events. William has been actively involved in his church, First Baptist Church of Beech Grove for his entire life. William loved cars and motorcycles and in his younger days he loved to race his hotrod!

William is survived by his children; Jeffrey D. (Hillary) Hawkins and Deborah L. Hawkins, grandsons; Luke W. Hawkins, Mitchell R. Hawkins and Zane M. Hawkins.

William is preceded in death by his loving wife of 53 years; Dolores L. Hawkins

A visitation for William will be held Friday, September 24, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Beech Grove, 5521 Churchman Ave., Indianapolis, Indiana 46203. A funeral service will occur Friday, September 24, 2021 at 1:00 PM, 5521 Churchman Ave., Indianapolis, Indiana 46203. An entombment will occur Friday, September 24, 2021 at Washington Park East Cemetery, Indianapolis, Indiana.
