Burma Jean Etheridge

Burma Jean Etheridge, 63, of Jackson, died peacefully at her home on May 12, 2016. She was born March 31, 1953 in Grove Hill to Burma Jones and the late Derrell Jones. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Jackson.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Charlie Etheridge of Jackson; daughter, Mindy (Kyle) Childs of Jackson; sons, Chris (Wikima) Etheridge of Alaska and Jason (Laura) Etheridge of Jacksonville, FL; ten grandchildren and a number of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on May 14, 2016 at Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson with Dr. Ben Stubblefield officiating. Visitation will begin two hours prior to the service. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens with Lathan Funeral Home directing.

Pallbearers will be Danny Joe Etheridge, David Etheridge, Vince Few, Bruce Arnott, Alan Alday and Scotty Alday.
