Gladys Pearl Lankford

Gladys Pearl Lankford, 87, of Wagarville entered into rest Wednesday, January 29, 2015 at her home. Funeral services will be Sunday, February 1, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Wagarville holiness Church. Interment will follow at Ebenezer United Methodist Church Cemetery. Brothers David Goldman and David Dyess will officiate. Mrs. Lankford was a native and resident of Wagarville, AL and a member of Wagarville Holiness Church. She was predeceased by her parents, George and Thelma Parnell Roney, husband, Raymond Cleveland Lankford, three children, Jerry Lankford, Randy Lankford, and Leigh Lankford, and four grandchildren, Greg Lankford, Jeremy Lankford, Scott Hayes, and Tim Knapp. She is survived by 14 children, Ray Lankford (Janie) of Chatom, Helen Tarver(Robert) of Wagarville, Sue Keith (Hal) of Wagarville, Katie Pledger (Don) of Jackson, Mickey Lankford (Lacy) of wagarville, Vicky Cooper (Tony) of Hobson, Cathy Harrell (Randy) of Jackson, Perry Lankford (Trish) of Jackson, Polly Bozeman (Timmy) of Leroy, Timmy Lankford (Katrina) of Jackson, Mark Lankford (Pam) of Wagarville, Phil Lankford (Debbie) of Jackson, Chris Lankford of Wagarville and Derek Lankford (Deanna) of Wagarville, a brother Ralph Roney of Wagarville, a sister, Betty Anderson of Hobson, and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Pallbearers include, Terry Anderson, Donnie Anderson, O’Neil Roney, Robin “Bo” Roney, Wayne Roney, and Jimmy Roney. Honorary pallbearers include Andy Tarver,Brian Hayes, Adam Bozeman, Michael Strickland, Michael Lankford, Ethan Lankford, Gavin Knapp, Luke Lankford, Gary Miller, and Jeremy Lankford.
