Mrs. Helen Dale McLean McLendon

Helen Dale McLean McLendon, age 94, born February 15, 1920, passed away Monday, August 4, 2014 at her residence. Mrs. McLendon was a resident of Jackson, AL. She was a homemaker who loved her flowers. She was a member of Hebron United Methodist Church. Mrs. McLendon was preceded in death by her husband, Foscue McLendon; her parents, David Lacy McLean and Beatrice Pugh McLean. She is survived by her daughters, Betty Overstreet of Grove Hill; Faye McCallister of Jackson, Sandra Pruitt of Grove Hill and Paula McLendon-Harris of Tuscaloosa; Brother-in-law, Earl McLendon (Mary); Sisters-in-law, Louise McLean, Earline Bradley and Mae McLendon; 5 Grandchildren; 9 Great Grandchildren and Caregivers, Wilda Gilchrist, Summer Cartwright and Lora Odom. Funeral Service will be Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at Lathan Funeral Home, Jackson, AL with Paul McLendon and Jimmy Simpkins officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until the funeral hour. Interment will be in Trinity Memorial Garden Cemetery.
