James E. "Jim" Wilkins, Jr., born September 25, 1933, died October 6, 2014 at the age of 81. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Amanda "Billie" King Wilkins; son, James K. "Jamie" Wilkins; brothers, Benny H. (Jimmie Lou) Wilkins and Robert D. (Betty) Wilkins; one niece and two nephews. Mr. Wilkins is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. & Mrs. J. E. Wilkins, Sr. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, October 9, 2014 at the First United Methodist Church of Jackson at 2:30 p.m. with the family receiving friends and loved ones from 1:45 p.m. until the service begins.
