Matthew Franklin Jones

Matthew Franklin “Matt” Jones, 40 of Coffeeville, AL, entered into rest Sunday, December 21, 2014, at his residence. Funeral services will be Friday, December 26, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Coffeeville United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in Coffeeville Town Cemetery. Rev. Linda Fos will officiate. A native of Marietta, GA, Mr. Jones had resided in the Coffeeville Area for the majority of his life. He graduated Auburn University with a degree in forestry. He was a member of Coffeeville United Methodist Church. Survivors include his mother, Elaine Jones, his father, Kenneth Jones both of Coffeeville, two sisters, Marie Jones Finch (Mikeal) of Winn and Cissy Carpenter (Stacey) of Leroy, a brother, Dean Jones (Connie) of Chatom, a special niece, Makenzie Finch, and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers include, Joe Jones, Micah Smith, Ben Bradley, Stacey Dunagan, Scotty Dunagan, Jeramy Allday. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the 11:00 AM funeral hour at the church.
