Mickey Charles Fields

Mickey Charles Fields, 46, of Jackson, AL passed away on Monday, February 16, 2015 at his home. Mickey was loving and beautiful with red hair and chubby cheeks. His favorite color was green/camo. He was a member of the Black Powder group. An avid hunter and fisherman, he enjoyed making gun stocks, knives, etc… He was a member of Evergreen Baptist Church. His son, Logan, was his world! He was preceded in death by his parents, Marshall Leon Fields and Gloria Annette Jones, sister, Nancy Louise Fields, grandfather, James Ollis Jones. Survivors include his son, Logan Chad Fields; grandmother, Willie Yovonne Jones; Aunts and Uncles: Jenny L. and Glenn C. McDonald, Daisy and Billy Reeves, Mary Lou and Eldred Jones; numerous cousins, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at Lathan Funeral Home from 1-3PM and the funeral service will begin at 3PM with Bro. Wayne Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery in Chastain Hill. Active pallbearers will be Sherman Roper, Ron Turner, George Spence, Carey McDonald, Larry Jones and James Coleman. Serving as honorary pallbearers are Jackie Jones, Johnnie Jones, Wilber Jones, Buddy Eubanks, Billy Ray Fields, Bill Walker, Bubba Walker, William Batley, Clyde Batley, Chris Overstreet, Billy Reeves, Bobby Reeves, Jeff Griffin and the JHS Classes of 1987 and 1988.
