Vicki Louise Lane

Vicki P. Lane, 60, of Hawthorn, died May 23, 2015 at the University of South Alabama Medical Center. She was a member of the Washington County Baptist Church and was retired from Olin Corp. Born in Jackson, she loved to garden and travel, spend time with her children and grandson. She was loved by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry Lane, her parents, Carol Patrick and Louise Williams Patrick and a daughter, Ashley Lane. She is survived by her children, Roxanne (Bryan) Lourcey and Dannon Lane of Wagarville ; one sister Brenda Patrick (Jack) Bennett of Merritt Island, Fla. and one grandchild, Samuel Lane Lourcey of Panama City, Fla. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Graveside services will be 12:30 p.m. at the Hooks-Harris Cemetery in Sunflower with the Rev. Phillip Howard officiating and Lathan Funeral Home directing. Active pallbearers will be Samuel Lourcey, Bryan Lourcey, Kelly Waite, Hayden Waite, Eddy Patrick, Alan Patrick, Rickey Chestang and Blake Chestang. Honorary pallbearers will be Timmy Williams and Malcolm Waite. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Shriner’s International at 2900 N.
