Derek Leslie Lloyd departed this world on April 23, 2014 in Jackson Heights, New York at the age of 45. Beloved husband of Mary. Loving son of Fred and Doreen Lloyd. Cherished brother of Tracey Lloyd and her partner Aimee Vanderzee. Derek was born on November 19, 1968 in Oxfordshire, England and raised in Melbourne, Australia, he moved to New York in 1999 to marry his wife Mary of 14 years. Derek was the Director of Production at Performance Space 122 in the East Village for over 10 years where he mentored many young technicians and was a beloved colleague and friend. Derek will be forever loved and missed by his extensive family and friends.
