Ann Reid Tichenor, 85, passed away on Monday, March 21, 2016 at Baptist Hospital in Jackson. Visitation will be held at Lakewood Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. A graveside service will be held at Lakewood Memorial Park immediately following visitation.
Ann was born on October 25, 1930 in Amory, MS to the late Gilbert Reid, Sr. and Bessie Cherry Reid. She was raised in Columbus, MS and moved to Jackson in 1963 and became a faithful member of Alta Woods UMC.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Tichenor; son, Reid Tichenor; parents; three siblings; and one great grandchild.
Ann is survived by her son, Travis Tichenor; daughters, Kathy King (Ed) and Patricia Tichenor (Jerry Forman); grandchildren, Justin Tichenor (Brittany), Carey Tichenor Grisham, Ryan King (Kacie), Levi King, Karen Melton, and Kristi LeBlanc (Chris); and twelve great grandchildren.
