Charles L. Bridges

Charles L. Bridges, 92 passed away on Monday, February 18, 2013 at Brandon Nursing and rehab. Visitation will be at 11:00am on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home on High Street in Jackson. Funeral services will follow at 1:00pm in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Briar Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Bridges was a member a Cleary Baptist Church and previously of Marvin United Methodist Church. He was an honorary member of the Marvin UMC Mary Bozeman Sunday School Class. He was the Manager of McRae’s warehouse for 42 years.

Mr. Bridges was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Dorothy Hullum Bridges. He is survived by his sons, Charles A. Bridges (Crystal) of Laurel and David E. Bridges of Brandon; daughters, Jane Bridges of Florence and Eva Evans (Ronnie) of Florence; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren and numerous other family members.

The family would like to thank the staff of Brandon Nursing and Rehab for their dedicated service to Mr. Bridges.
