Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, August 12, 2011 at 10 AM in the chapel of Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Jackson with interment in Cedarlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, August 11, 2011 from 5-7 PM.
Mr. Cochran was a 1963 graduate of Provine High School and later, MS State University. He was a retired electrical engineer having worked for various defense industry contractors and was a member of LifePointe Baptist Church.
He is survived by his mother, Marie S. Palmer of Jackson; brothers, Doug Palmer (Sandy) of Brandon and Greg Palmer of Jackson; nieces, Angela Vincent (Mike) of Spanish Fort, AL and Heather McClelland (David Paul) of Ridgeland; nephew, Stephen Palmer (Jennifer) of Marietta, GA and 5 great nieces.
