Mrs. Eloise C Messemore, 76, passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson. Visitation will be held at Lakewood Funeral Home on Saturday, October 22, 2016 from 9:30 to 11:30 AM with funeral services to be held in the funeral home chapel at 11:30 AM. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park.
Mrs. Messemore was born on February 20, 1940 to the late Louis and Lena Giles Cox. She was a member at Providence Presbyterian Church and was a former Sunday School teacher at Alta Woods and Central Presbyterian Church. She was an avid reader and loved to travel.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Howard J Messemore and her parents.
Survivors include her two step daughters; sisters, Sarah Peyton of Utica and Frances Collins of Raymond, five nephews, and one niece.
