Evelyn Eades Morgan Staggs

Mrs. Evelyn Earley Eades Morgan Staggs, 87, passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2016, at Briar Hill Nursing Home in Florence. Visitation will be held at Lakewood Funeral Home on Saturday, July 23, 2016 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday at 3:00 PM followed by interment at Lakewood Memorial Park.

Evelyn was born on April 24, 1929 to the late, William Madison Earley and Virgie Lee Blansett Earley. She was deli manager at McCarty-Holman/Jitney Jungle for over 30 years. She was a long time resident of Buford-Yerger in Jackson.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, James Frank Eades and Willie Mac Morgan; parents; brother, Albert Wayne Earley; sister, Mary Lee Parker; and granddaughter, Christian Ann Durham.

Evelyn is survived by her husband, Johnnie W. Staggs; son, James Eades, Jr; daughters, Mary D. Wright (Steve), Jeanette Bankston, Maxine Moore (Donald), Shirlene Bramlett; grandchildren, Josh Wright (Kellen), Brandi Eades, David Bankston, Michael Bankston (Shelby), Jerry Mac Moore, Belinda Myers (Wayne), and Marshall Novak (Steven); numerous great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Her family is very appreciative for the compassionate care that she received at Briar Hill Nursing Home.
