Fred Ellis Davis, 88, died March 10, 2013 at his home. Funeral Service will be 12:00 noon Friday at Briar Hill Baptist Church with visitation from 10:00 a.m. till 12:00 noon. Burial will follow in the Briar Hill Cemetery.
He was a member of Briar Hill Baptist Church, a Veteran of WWII and a retired Journeyman Painter.
Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his wives, Katie L. Davis and Audrey H. Davis.
Survivors include step-children, Ray Buchanan (Janie), Steve Spencer, Mike Spencer (Trudy), Lisa Mahaffey; brothers, Ralph Davis (Jeanette) and J.T. Davis (Loretta); sisters, Pat Parker (Jim) and Nelda Lee (Allen); seven step-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family request memorials be given to Briar Hill Baptist Church in c/o Haiti Missions.
