Geraldine Sandifer

Mrs. Sandifer was born on September 7, 1917 in Crystal Springs, MS to Mr. and Mrs. George Ware.

Visitation for Mrs. Sandifer will be Friday November 16, 2012 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Eastside Baptist Church in Pearl, MS with a service immediately following. Burial will be at Floral Hills Cemetery in Pearl, MS.

Mrs. Sandifer was a loving wife and mother who was very proud of her children and Grandchildren. Mrs. Sandifer was an avid Gardener and loved working in her flower and vegetable gardens. She was a talented seamstress and loved quilting and sewing and even won many blue ribbons at the Mississippi State Fair for her work. Mrs. Sandifer attended Eastside Baptist Church and was a member of the Pearl Homemakers club.

Mrs. Sandifer was preceded in death by her Husband N.S Sandifer, Sr. and her parents George Ware and Etta Patrick Ware.

She is survived by her three children; Sid Sandifer, Faye Rooker (Ron) and Marla Ainsworth (Sammy), Grandchildren; Derek Rooker (Allison), Melanie Ainsworth, Christina Jackson (Charlie), Melinda Brady (Bruce), great grandchildren; Tripp Jackson, Vaiden Jackson, Bennett Rooker, Collins Rooker, Ainsley Kate Brady.

Memorials may be made in the honor of Mrs. Sandifer to “The Gideons International” at 2771 Old Canton Road Jackson, MS 39216.
