Helen Marie Phillips, 82, passed away on Friday, December 11, 2020 at Golden Age Nursing Home. Visitation will be held at Lakewood Funeral Home on Sunday, December 13 from 2:00 to 3:00 PM with a committal service to follow at Lakewood Memorial Park.
Mrs. Phillips was born on December 1, 1938 in Jackson, MS. She was a case worker for the Hinds Welfare Department. Throughout her life she was a faithful member to Calvary Baptist Church, Van Winkle Baptist Church and Alta Woods Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Phillips and parents, Floyd and Ruby Anderson.
Mrs. Phillips is survived by her son, Robert Phillips and his longtime companion, Mary and her children, Kristen Williams, Guy Williams (Elizabeth) and Jonathan Williams. She is also survived by her canine companion, Zach and numerous nieces and nephews.
