A visitation for James will be held Thursday, April 20, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Lakewood Funeral Home, 6011 Clinton Blvd, Jackson, Mississippi 39209. Following the visitation will be a pavilion service at 2:00 PM at Lakewood Memorial Park, 6000 Clinton Blvd., Jackson, Mississippi 39209.
James was preceded in death by his wife of 33 years, Randy Greer; parents, Frank Greer and Donnis Hammack Greer; brother, Frank Greer, Jr and sister, Alma Reeves. He is survived by his daughter, Kim Thornton (Chad); granddaughter, Cheyanne Cessna (Cody); grandson, Alex Thornton; great granddaughters, Addison and Sadie.
