      Funeral Services will be held at 1 P.M Thursday, October 3, 2013 from the High St. Chapel of Wright and Ferguson Funeral

Home.  Visitation will begin at 11:00 am.  Interment will follow the service in Lakewood Cemetery.

    Born in Carthage, MS, Mr. Oliphant was a long-tine Jackson resident before moving to Knoxville 8 years ago.  He retired from the City of Jackson and was a member of the Grand Lodge of MS, F. & A. M.

    He was preceded in death by his wife Bertraz J. Oliphant; his Mother Ludie Oliphant; his Father Jim Oliphant and brother Quinten Oliphant.

    Survivors include his daughter Deborah Oliphant Smith (Bobby) of Knoxville, TN; Grandson Derek Smith of Knoxville; Granddaughter Lindsey Smith of Charlotte, NC; Sisters Bobbie Clark, Ekia McWhorter, Elaine Crizer all of Texas and many nieces and nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews.  Online guestbook www.wrightferguson.com
