James C. Yarbrough, 70, passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2022. Visitation will be Sunday, September 25, 2022 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at Lakewood Funeral Home with a graveside service to follow at Lakewood Memorial Park.
James was born in Jacksonville, FL to the late James C. Yarbrough and Ardith Varnadoe Thomas. He was a diesel mechanic for 30 years and worked hard for his family. James was an outdoor enthusiast. He had a passion for hunting and one of the best things in life for him was food as he loved to eat.
James is preceded in death by his parents and three sisters. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Yarbrough; children, George E. Landfair (Amy) and Kim L. Hale; brother, Michael Yarbrough (Robin); four grandchildren, Matthew Landfair, Ana-Grace Landfair, Morgan Landfair, Devin Taylor.
