Mrs. Jeanette Nicholson Kelly, age 84, passed away on September 19, 2014 in Denver, Colorado. Graveside services will be held Saturday, September 27, 2014 at 11:00 am at Lakewood Memorial Park with interment immediately following.
Mrs. Jeanette N. Kelly was born on September 25, 1929 in Laurel, MS. She was the daughter of Edgar and Flora Bankston Nicholson. She worked as a Nurse for many years. Mrs. Kelly lived in Jackson for most of her life and later moved to Colorado. She was a member of Van Winkle Baptist Church of Jackson.
Mrs. Kelly is survived by her granddaughter, Tracy Kelly May (Steve); her sisters, Sylvia Keyes (Bob) and Fredna Craven; daughter in law, Margaret Dunaway; her son in law, Brent Garrett.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Victor "Pete" Copeland Kelly; her son, Victor Eugene Kelly and her daughter, Deborah K. Garrett.
